Mughal Garden

Our students from classes Prep -III visited the Mughal Garden on 20th -21st February,2015.

Educational Trip to the National Science Centre

Our students from classes VI - VIII visited the National Science Centre on 30th September’14. They were shown a 3D movie on the life of dinosaurs and  also tried their hands on some scientific games. The students got to learn more about human body, water the elixir of life and life of Harappan people. It was a very   exciting  and knowledgeable trip  for all of them .


35 students along with 3 teachers visited Doordarshan Kendra, Mandi House on 29 August, 2014 for a  live show YOUTH EXPRESS that deals with  discussion on a particular topic relevant to the youth . The guests were Dr. Ranghdevi Singh, Psychotherapist and Counselor and Dr. Raina, Sociologist.The topic of discussion was “Facebook- Curse or a blessing”.  Students asked various questions to the guests and discussed the pros and cons of the social networking sites while the guests gave their expert opinion on the topic.


To impart knowledge about milk production, students of class XI & X were taken to Mother Dairy Fruit and Vegetable Pvt. Ltd, Mayur Vihar. Students were explained about procurement of milk and various processing stages. Students were further shown how milk is distributed to milk shops, Franchise shops etc. and test for adulteration was shown to check the purity of milk. Over all, the visit was very informative and beneficial for the students.

Chail- Shimla Trip (June -2014)


The thought of going to a Hill Station in Summers is so exciting in itself. Adding icing to the cake is the fun of going in a big group. The Chail-Shimla trip was organized by the school from June 17 to 30, 2014 wherein 30 students accompanied by 5 teachers went. The students enjoyed Rope course activities like Trekking, Burma Bridge, Parallel Rope, Flying Fox, Knot Tying, Rappelling, Net Bridge, Ladder Bridge and many other adventure activities. They also visited Mall road and Church in Shimla and Zoo in Kufri. The show stealer was the camp fire at night where the teachers and students let their hair down and danced to the foot tapping numbers. On their way back, they visited the Cactus Garden, Rock Garden and Sukhna Lake in Chandigarh. Along with loads of enjoyment, they learnt to value time and became more confident. Such trips help in enhancing the overall personality of students.


An educational trip was organised for the students of class IX, X and XI to Fashion Designing Institute, Noida and Times of India Printing Press on 13th May’14. At the F.D.I, students saw the production of shoes at various stages. Their coordinators showed various departments of the institute like Cutting department, Component department and Lasting and Finishing department. In the second part of the excursion, students headed towards the Times of India Printing Press located in Sahibabad Industrial Area. Major Dhillon, the Administrative Head, welcomed the teachers and students and gave a brief introduction of history of the newspaper. The students visited the entire press and saw step by step printing of the newspaper. They were explained about the operation of the machines and various stages of printing and reprinting of the newspaper.

An excursion was organized for class PREP students on 12th May’14. The students went to PVR Cinema, Vikas Puri and had a gala time watching their favourite animated movie ‘RIO’.The students of classes VI-VIII also had the opportunity to watch and enjoy the screening of their favourite movie ‘Spider-Man 2’ on 15th May ’14, at PVR Cinema, Vikas Puri. It was a memorable experience for all the students who got a break from their mundane routine.


The students of classes I to III went to Nehru Planetarium on 7th May ’14, where they came to know more about the evolution of different planets and the working of the solar system through a 3D movie on Solar System. This educational trip really boosted their interest in the field of science.
