The Global Media Literacy Project

 

The Global Media Literacy Project of CHINH EARLY EDUCATION WEB CHANNEL was hosted by Brain International School on 3rd July 2014.  A day-long media camp aimed at orienting students on media. The students were introduced to the concept of media literacy by showcasing award winning films done by children.  Media Camp aimed to www.chinh.in by end of August. 

Self Defence And Awareness
 
To enable girls to defend themselves in adverse situations, a week long Self Defence and Awareness classes were held from 29th April to 3rd May’14.  The proficient experts from Delhi Police Karate Academy helped generate awareness amongst girls and the female staff members about self-defence. 







Earth Day Rally

In an effort to bring a better change in the current environmental conditions, a mass rally in the nearby areas was organized on Earth Day ie. 25th April ’14 by the Interact Club of Brain International School. The students zestfully participated and marched through the streets with catchy slogans and banners for the campaign to lead towards a better and brighter future of the ecosystem.








SHARE A LITTLE, CARE A LITTLE – DONATE BLOOD

As one of the CSR activities, the school along with the Interact Club organized a rally with students of classes VI to IX visiting the nearby areas. The students echoed slogans and persuaded the local residents to donate blood in the ‘Blood Donation Camp’ in the school premises on 17th May’14.  The BIS family thanks parents, staff members, and area residents for generously donating for the nobel cause.  

E-Waste Project

I-dream project (2013-14) held a finale on 23rd April’14 to appreciate the work done for the e-waste. Various schools performed Nukkad Nataks  and presented PPT’s to entertain the guests. They were also awarded for their contributions to the cause. Along with the closing of the project, a new phase of the project was also launched (2014-15). Gurunjeet and Dhruv of class X accompanied the teacher in-charge, Mrs. Sheetal throughout the project.





EDU- FAIR AT BAL BHARTI PUBLIC SCHOOL, DWARKA

Science and Commerce sections of class XII were taken for an Edu- fair to Bal Bharti Public School, Dwarka on 29th April 2014.  It was conducted to counsel students regarding different career options.  Students were informed about various academic and professional courses of Universities, eligibility criteria etc. The queries and doubts of students were solved and cleared thoroughly .
